Resident Educator (RE)

The RE is a paraprofesional responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the student life program in their residence hall of 52 to 221 students. The title "educator" represents our philosophy that education is a major component of the residence hall experience. It suggests that the RE should be a person who is able to lead resident activities, keep the confidence of residents, provide spiritual guidance, help them overcome problems in adjusting to campus life, and to give guidance relative to interpersonal relationships and generally facilitate the total education of the student.
